Hi, I’m Sophie!
I recently started this website as a new hobby after taking early retirement from the banking world. I somehow never found (or made) the time to cook in my prior life, and I decided that Life 2.0 should include more kitchen adventures. The focus of Lemon Teaspoon is easy recipes with simple ingredients, including my favourites from back home (I’m an Acadian from Canada’s Maritimes), and adaptations from old recipe books and clippings. Every recipe, whether of my own concoction or from another author, has been tried out and sampled by family and friends. I hope you will find some inspiration here for your own cooking journey!
