A healthy granola cereal mix. We all need more whole grains in our diet, this is a yummy way to get there. Make in advance in a large batch, and have it ready-to-go in your pantry. Perfect with milk or yogurt, and your favourite fruit or berries as topping.

A healthy granola cereal mix

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 11 cups large flake oatmeal
- 1½ cup unsweetened coconut
- 1½ cup oat bran
- ¾ cup ground flax
- ¾ cup slivered almonds
- ¾ cup walnut pieces
- ¾ cup wheat germ
- ¾ cup sesame seeds
- 1½ cup unsalted hulled sunflower seeds
- 1 cup hulled pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsp cinnamon, or more if you like
Liquids
- 1¼ cup olive oil
- 1¼ cup maple syrup
- 1¼ cup water
Dried Fruit
- 1½ cup raisins
- ¾ cup chopped dates
- ¾ cup currants
- ¾ cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 275℉.
- Line 2 large baking pans with aluminium foil or parchment paper.
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- In a saucepan, bring the liquids (oil, maple syrup, water) to a boil. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stir well.
- Spread the mixture on 2 large baking pans. Bake and stir every 15-20 minutes for a total of 90 minutes.
- Remove from oven, add the dried fruit , and stir to combine.
Notes
Store in airtight container for up to three weeks.
